EDUCATION DIRECTOR
(part-time/20 hours a week)

Kids Discovery Museum is looking for qualified candidates to help carry out its mission by planning, guiding and implementing all educational components and programs for the Museum, overseeing the educational direction, working on outreach, and serving as an advocate for play. Qualifications:
The Museum is seeking a positive, self-motivated team player with teaching and programming experience (early learning experience a plus). A successful candidate must be outgoing, detail-oriented, with strong organizational skills. He/she must enjoy and have a minimum of five years of professional experience working with children. Bachelor’s degree in a related field required (education or early childhood education degree preferred).

FACILITY MAINTENANCE SUPPORT
(contract hourly position – between 5 and 20 hours per month depending on projects and events)
Do you love to solve problems, fix things, or are a maker at heart? Help provide a welcoming and safe environment for young explorers in a “please-touch” museum.
We are looking for experienced and creative candidates to support KiDiMu with various facility and exhibit maintenance projects (fixing, assembly, disassembly of exhibits, changing lightbulbs etc.) Most repairs and tasks usually happen before or after operating hours and are assigned as needed. This position reports to operations director. The schedule is flexible. Compensation is DOE.

Qualifications:
The Museum is seeking a positive, self-motivated team player with handiwork or construction experience. A successful candidate must be reliable, detail-oriented, with strong problem-solving skills.
