Museum Closures
The Kids Discovery Museum is closed on the following holidays:
Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving, Christmas.
Directions & Parking
The Kids Discovery Museum is located on beautiful Bainbridge Island, just a short 35-minute ferry ride from Seattle and a two minute walk, and an easy drive or bus ride from anywhere in Kitsap County. Parking lot is located behind the Museum building and it is FREE to visitors.
Directions From Seattle:
Take the Seattle-Bainbridge Ferry from Coleman Dock. Relax and enjoy the view of the city and Mt. Rainier for 35 minutes. Upon disembarking the ferry, exit the ferry building, walk up the hill and across Winslow Way. Turn left and walk about 300 yards to Ravine Lane, on your right. You can see KiDiMu, at 301 Ravine Lane, at the Island Gateway complex, just behind the construction site. Please follow the signs to the parking lot behind KiDiMu.
Directions From Kitsap County:
Take Highway 305 South across the Agate Passage Bridge and onto Bainbridge Island. Turn right onto Winslow Way, then take your first right on Ravine Lane NE.
