Minimu: Parenting from Within

October 24 @ 10:30 am - 11:30 am

On October 24, join us for a special program for babies, tots, and their grown-ups…

Children, birth – 18 months, and their caregivers are invited to enjoy circle time and find a supportive community in the welcoming space of Kids Discovery Museum. Meet other families to share experiences, play together and learn from one another. This week, join Courtney Clem, family therapist from The Dahlia Center, who will discuss the idea of “parenting from within” – the state of curiosity, openness and reflection, with lots of space to play so that our children can formulate their experiences.

Courtney specializes in working with parents, parents-to-be and children. Whether your child is still in utero, out in the world and attached to your hip or letting go and coming back as they explore a little bit further in this great big world – this is the work she loves. As a mama of two little ones (16 months and 3 years) she is in the “thick of it” with you! She believes in knowing your own story, emotional connection with children, communication, rupture and repair and PLAY!

Non-members: $8 per child/adult pair.
