Winter Workshops

Join us for some serious hands-on fun at KiDiMu during this holiday school break!

FRIDAY, DECEMBER 27
MAKER MANIA
Children are invited to join our maker space to take things apart and make art or create a new invention. They will use a variety of tools to examine and disassemble old electronic devices at the “Take-apart Table.” They will practice small motor skills and tool safety as they work with screwdrivers, pliers and hammers. Then, they will have a chance to join the “Maker Table” where they will test different materials and design their new creation. Throughout this experience, children will discover how trial and error lead to success. As always – they will also enjoy stories and make friends, and play with Museum exhibits!
Instructor: Ellie Mansfield

FRIDAY, JANUARY 3
FROZEN ADVENTURE
Celebrate the season! Kids will construct an ice castle and have fun with themed stories, crafts and other activities. They will also enjoy some supervised exhibit playtime with friends and for the finale – experiment with homemade “snow.”
