Sponsor Spotlight: Puget Sound Energy

PSECorporate Partners provide a critical support of the Museum,
its exhibits and outreach programs!

KiDiMu is grateful to Puget Sound Energy (PSE) and its Foundation for ongoing commitment to the Museum’s mission and the families that use it.

PSE’s dedication to making a long-lasting impact in the Puget Sound region through environmental stewardship, community service and financial contributions is proven by
its support of KiDiMu.

Puget Sound Energy’s partnerships with KiDiMu began a few years ago, in the Museum’s previous location, where PSE helped bring thousands of children from the Puget Sound community to experience learning fun at KiDiMu through the free pass sponsorship program, offered to the families in need.

The generosity did not stop there. PSE recognized KiDiMu’s role
as a vital resource in the community by contributing to the Museum’s Building a Foundation for Discovery Capital Campaign.
PSE’s support was crucial to the success of creating a permanent home for early learning on Bainbridge Island and helping KiDiMu become sustainable not only financially but also environmentally, as the new facility is LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Silver Certified.

“At PSE, we’ve been impressed with the leadership KiDiMu has demonstrated by incorporating energy efficient features into its new home,” said Linda Streissguth, PSE Government & Community Relations Manager. “We are proud to support KiDiMu’s efforts to educate the kids about sustainable living.”

Recently, the Museum has been fortunate to welcome PSE as one of the key sponsors of the First Annual KiDiMu’s Bithday Bash,
a celebration that gathered over 700 children and their families
for a day of free family fun.
PSE’s generosity extended beyond the financial support that made the celebration possible, as its incredible employees “energized” the party with their presence and special party favors for visiting families.
