Kids’ Night at the Museum
Once a month, KiDiMu hosts “Kids Night at the Museum,” a fun-filled evening for kids only!
No parents allowed, as children play games, create art, have a pizza dinner
and enjoy supervised free play in the Museum.

Monthly Art Activities
There is no busier place in the Museum than the art tables in Sean’s space, KiDiMu’s Art Studio!

Monthly Programs and Workshops
“Learning begins with opportunities,” so annually, we host many educational programs.
Any given week, during their visit, a family can:
- Conduct experiments with a science teacher
- Watch a puppet show
- Create magical crafts with a local artist
- Participate in a storytelling/creative drama program
- Learn about the fun and health benefits of bike riding with a local professional bicyclist
- Get up close and personal with a Great White Owl.

Each summer, between the months of June and August,
the Kids Discovery Museum conducts a variety of fun and experiential camps for children.

“A Night at the Museum 2012 – Under the Big Top”
Each year, the Kids Discovery Museum hosts “A Night at the Museum” auction gala.
The evening is full of fun and the unexpected, with guests enjoying a night of fabulous food,
delectable libations and frivolity, as they support the fund-raising efforts of the Museum.
Each time, the tickets sell out quickly and the event raises one-third of the dollars
needed to keep the Kids Discovery Museum open. This is a wonderful venue for sponsors to highlight their many contributions to the community with 200 top donors. This year’s event is scheduled for September 7, 2012.

KiDiMu’s Annual Birthday Bash!
Starting in 2011, each year, on the first weekend of June, KiDiMu hosts a fabulous day of community celebration to mark the anniversary of re-opening for learning fun in its new location.
