Oh, the places you’ll go!
Discover downtown and explore how a busy town works. Inspired by Our Town exhibit, storybooks and adventurous neighborhood field trips, campers will engage in pretend play and hands-on activities to find out what it means to be a part of a community.

They will visit some of the exciting places in Winslow. After going “behind the scenes” of a post office, campers will create, sort and deliver their own mail. They will tour the police station, meet the officers, examine their fingerprints and learn about personal safety. Finally, they will get a special tour of a local grocery store and practice running one back at KiDiMu, while learning about teamwork and mutual respect.

To infinity and beyond!
Get ready for adventures out of this world. Aspiring astronauts will kick off the week by observing the rare solar eclipse and learn more about this event by experimenting with shadows. They will blast off in a rocket ship, walk on the moon, and play in a mission control center.

Campers will make telescopes and explore space-themed books to learn about the phases of the moon and constellations. They will travel to the moon and back, and discover our solar system through hands-on experiments, games, pretend play and art activities.
